THE CUP COMES BACK TO COLORADO!
One of the lies that propagandists try to sell to the public is that those who use pot will become lazy and unmotivated. However, every time a health study is released that rates the fitness levels of US States, Colorado is always in the Top 5. Furthermore, Coloradoans have the lowest adult obesity rate in the nation. In fact, five of the states that have the highest fitness levels – Colorado, Alaska, Montana, Vermont and Oregon – also have the highest rate of pot users per capita. So let’s put the “lazy and unmotivated” lie in the trashcan. The fact is that the cannabis industry is so busy and hectic that people have very little time to spend “recreating.” Competition among canna-businesses increases daily and Colorado’s first year of full-out legalization has spawned a marching marijuana economy and a cornucopia of new cannabis products. That’s why HIGH TIMES is returning to Denver for its fifth Cannabis Cup in the Rocky Mountain State. The cannabis industry will show up in force at the Denver Mart on April 18, 19 and 20 for a three-day celebration of the Colorado cannabis miracle. Be part of the growing cannabis community. THOSE WASCALLY WABBITS!

Those of you who watch cartoons know that Bugs Bunny is exceedingly clever, a rabbit who perpetually outsmarts his nemesis Elmer Fudd. In a scene right out of Looney Tunes, special agent Matt Fairbanks, a member of the DEA « marijuana eradication » team, told a Utah Senate panel that proposed pot legalization would result in stoned rabbits.
While destroying backcountry cannabis grow sites, Fudd – er – Fairbanks told this chilling tale of a rabbit who, he believes, had developed a taste for weed: « One of them refused to leave us, and we took all the marijuana around him, but his natural instincts to run were somehow gone.”Stoner rabbits? The horror! Finally, the DEA has reached the bottom of the propaganda barrel!

PIX OF THE CROP

Saint Ambrose was the dude who came up with the saying: “When in Rome, do as the Romans do.” What he actually said was: “When I am at Rome, I fast on a Saturday; when I am at Milan, I do not. Follow the custom of the church where you are. » Now that we’ve got that straight, Ambrose also said, “Where a man’s heart is, there is his treasure also.” Now that’s a quote that growers can relate to! Check out our weekly video tribute to the treasures of HIGH TIMES growers!
